WHIRLPOOL WATER HEATER – GALVANIC CORROSION – LEAKING CONNECTION – DUNBAR PLUMBING
plumbing-forums.dunbarplumbing.com – Here is a job that we were called out today for a gas line rework and happened to notice an issue with the water heater installation from back in May 2008. It’s more than evident that the installation of this unit is showing damage due to a leaking connection from copper to galvanized. As you see in the video above, the copper to galvanized connection has been leaking for a considerable amount of time, which will eventually destroy this water heater from the faulty connection. It is also evident that the cold water inlet shutoff has been leaking for a considerable amount of time as well. For more information and videos, please visit http
