Replacing Water Heater, Hot water pipe still leaking after one hour of being disconnected from water!?
Hello, We are going to replace our water heater, but before, we wanted to make sure everything is ok with the pipes, so we connected the cold water supply pipe to the hot water pipe (we’re water heater is supposed to be connected) to check for pressure and make sure all the pipes faucets are going to be clean, but… one hour after we shut off the water it’s still leaking! what can be causing this?
Also with the old water heater the shower and the sink on the master bath kept leaking all the time, but not the kitchen or the other bathroom…
We bought the house new 6 1/2 years ago.
thank you!
